2006 UPDATES

December 24, 2006

Hurrah!! It's Christmas Eve and Santa will soon be on his way. Did you notice the splash page? You can see Santa and his helpers getting ready for the long trip around the world. Sackit is fat and bulging with Holiday goodies and presents. Yep. The sack is a pet! Santa and Sackit were hexed by Tiffany of Sprocket. That tree that has yet to be trimmed is Spruce. Liz of Mistoffoles gave him to me. The little Reindeer is Dancer, a pet hexed by Moonlight and offered for adoption on the APKC Forum. Dancer already has the first load of presents in his sleigh. The little fella happily making snowballs is Teddy, a pet I adopted from the Teddy Catz breed created by Bubblewrap. Teddy tends to be mischievious and loves to tease Santa. Just above this Updates section you can see Jose, Juanita and Poncho from the Santa Pawz litter by Sue of Petz Boardwalk. They have finished decorating the tree and are debating about what kind of cookies they should leave for Santa.

The Holiday season is a busy time for everyone - no matter which holiday they celebrate. It has been busy here in Petzville as well. But I managed to get some new Skyblue goodies converted and posted for you to download.

First we have some new Dogz breeds! Dogz II players can download Version 1 of Annie's Golden Lhasa Apso and Versions 1 and 2 of her Maltese. Read the Maltese descriptions carefully, though!! Most of you will need to use Version 2 unless you have some Maltese petz from Annie's original file and you don't need or plan to import them into a later version of the game. Petz couldn't breed in Dogz or Catz II. The only way to have mixies was to hex them. You can download the Dogz II file for Annies version of a Labrador/Dalmatian mix. She called it Mercy Dog. Why? I haven't a clue. If you know why she called this breed a "Mercy Dog," please let me know. I am most curious about it!

Dogz 3, 4 and 5 players can download Versions 1 and 2 of the Golden Lhaso Apso, a Black Lhaso Apso, Version 3 of the Clumber Spaniel, the Leonberger, Version 2 of the Maltese and Annie's Mercy Dog. The Maltese is absolutely adorable and I have already adopted a pair to breed. They would be a cute base for hexies, too!! Those of you who carefully read the descriptions of the Clumber Spaniel on page 3 will notice that I posted Version 1 and then skipped to Version 3. Version 1 is the original breed Annie created for Dogz II and which I converted to the later games. Version 3 is the breed file Annie created for Dogz 4. I have not been able to locate the version she posted for Dogz 3. If you have it, please, please, please send me a copy so that the set can be complete!

I have some more clothes for you as well. Download a cute Bee costume for your petz and let them have a bit of fun buzzing around the flowers! They would also love the comfy Country Jumpsuit to wear on chilly Winter evenings and I bet you have a pet that would look great in the Mr. Cool outfit!

Bells. I hear church bells! Hey, wait a minute! It's early in the day and that can't possibly be for a Christmas Eve midnight service.. Ohhhhh... I almost forgot! Those are WEDDING BELLS! Vinelda and Hiccup are getting married today and they are having the wedding early so that Santa can come. He has to work late tonight, you know. By the way, if you arrived after December 24, don't worry. Minibyte and Miz Angus had a movie made so that you wouldn't miss the wedding. Now, go and wish the couple a wonderful future together....

December 12, 2006

Merry Christmas! Happy Chanukah! Happy New Year! Happy Holidays! Yay! My favorite time of year, filled with fun times, good food and lots of surprises. Don't you love it too? This update has all kinds of fun stuff for the Holiday season.

First of all, did you notice all my Christmas petz? On the splash page you can see Santa and his sack, Sackit. Yep. The sack is a pet! Santa and Sackit were hexed by Tiffany of Sprocket. That tree is Spruce. Liz of Mistoffoles gave him to me. The little Reindeer is Dancer, a pet hexed by Moonlight and offered for adoption on the APKC Forum. The little fella happily making snowballs is Teddy, a pet I adopted from the Teddy Catz breed created by Bubblewrap. Just above this Updates section you can see Jose, Juanita and Poncho from the Santa Pawz litter by Sue of Petz Boardwalk.

OK, OK, you want to know what new goodies you can download. First of all breeds.

Dogz II players can download Version 1 of Skyblue's Jack Russell Terrier. Dogz 3, 4, and 5 players can download Versions 1, 2, and 3 of the Jack Russell Terrier. As always, make sure you read the information carefully so that you download the version you need.

Both Dogz II gamers and Dogz 3, 4 and 5 gamers need to go to the Specialty Dogz pages to download Skyblue's pretty Jelly Blue and Jelly Pink breeds. Minibyte's conversions of the Jelly Pink are different from Carolyn's Jelly Pinks, but the files will overwrite each other. Read the description of the Jelly Pink carefully before downloading and using it. If you want both Minibyte's and Carolyn's versions you will need to keep them in separate folders and switch them depending upon which you want to use.

Just a note to let you know. I realize that it is difficult to find a breed when all you see are page numbers in the menu at the bottom of the Skyblue breed download pages. I will change the menu to let you choose a page by alphabet when all the Skyblue breeds are finished and posted.

Finally, you can download three playscenes from Wolfe's Den: Art Studio, Movie Star Room and Petz Shop. All three playscenes are available for both Petz 4 and Petz 5.

Say hello to Miz Angus if you can catch her. With Christmas, Chanukah and a wedding just around the corner she is running around like crazy!

Ewwww. Coal for bad boys and girls! That's nasty. I'm gonna hide it from Santa...

Let's leave that here for now. Hmmm.. I wonder where Santa put your gifts... AH! I bet I know. Under the Christmas tree! Follow me to the Family Room to get all the presents he left for YOU!!

December 1, 2006

This really isn't an update. I just wanted to remove some of the Pumpkin Hunt and Thanksgiving stuff. I am busy working on the Holiday update. Watch for it. It's coming, it's coming. LOL!

LOOK! Another Holiday event! Marie is coordinating a Petz Advent Calendar. We haven't had one of those since 2004 when Vickie hosted one. This should be lots of fun. Thanks, Marie! And thanks to all the people who donated gifts!

The turkeys on the splash page are Drumstick, Wishbone and Sir Gobbler. I adopted Drumstick and Wishbone from Carolyn Horn's turkey breed file. Sir Gobbler is a hexed turkey from Sue of Petz Boardwalk. They weren't the least bit nervous about Thanksgiving, In fact, Drumstick and Wishbone were so curious about what was going on that they followed you in and are up at the top of the Updates section. I'm not sure what happened to Sir Gobbler, but I could have sworn that he came in too....

In my last update I promised to work on some clothes from Skyblue. Well I did and now I'm not sure who't craziest, Annie for creating 23 overwriting collars or me for converting them to non overwrites for three game versions. There's a total of 72 files and that doesn't count all the pictures I had to create! There are more Skyblue clothes. Ummmm, clothes that aren't collars, but I was too burned out on clothes files to do them. I set them aside for a later update.

After I finished all those files I kept thinking about the people who really don't care much for petz clothes and I didn't want to leave them out. So, I went ahead and did a few Skyblue breed conversions.

Dogz II gamers can download the German Shepherd Mix, The German Shorthair Pointer and the Heinz 57 Mutt.

Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can download the German Shepherd Mix, The German Shorthair Pointer, three versions of the Heinz 57 Mutt and the Wire Haired Fox Terrier.

There are some new petz in the Adoption Center as well. I have cloned three more of Random Wiktor's Petz 5 petz so that everyone can enjoy them. Go to the Fantasiez section to download the elegant Flighty Frome Wolves. Then go to Page 4 of Dogz 3-4-5 where you can adopt Random's lovely cream colored Cape Hunting Dogz (aka as an AWD or African Wild Dog) and her Jock Aussies. There's a bonus with the Jock Aussies. They require the Phuket Aussie breed file. Since the Phuket Aussie site has been closed for a long time, I have posted a unibreed version of the breed file for you to download with your Jock Aussies.

Ahhh. Before I forget. If you missed getting your Halloween treat, you can find it on the Toyz List. If you missed my extra Pumpkin Hunt gift, you can still get it. You just have to FIND it. I changed it to a hidden gift on a hidden page. Uh oh. I think I just saw Sir Gobbler going into the Adoption Center. I'm not sure that was a very smart thing for him to do.... last I heard, Miz Angus was having a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner!

November 20, 2006

LOOK! Another Holiday event! Marie is coordinating a Petz Advent Calendar. We haven't had one of those since 2004 when Vickie hosted one. This should be lots of fun. If you can, donate something. All donations have to be in by November 27 so that Marie has time to get everything ready for us to start Downloading on December 1. Thanks, Marie!

Have you done the Halloween/Fall Pumpkin Hunt yet? If not, hurry up. The hunt ends on November 30 and I would hate to think that you missed out on some of the neatest prizes I have ever seen in a petz scavanger hunt! Remember, the tagboard has hints on it that go all the way to the beginning of the hunt, so just scroll all the way down and start reading if you get stuck. The tagboard isn't as busy as it was in the beginning. If you post a request for help, leave your Email address so that someone can answer you if they check in after you leave.

Yes, I have hidden a pumpkin on my site. Calm down, relax... I KNOW that this is a huge site. But I didn't hide it on some page that I put up a year ago and that you have probably seen. Stick with the new stuff. The Update information below will help. Then you should have no trouble finding a pumpkin and even a surprise gift! Even though this is a new update, the pumpkin is in the same place and all the hints that were given still apply.

October 27, 2006

Yay! It's time for a Halloween/Fall Petz Scavanger Hunt and the wonderful Noelle of Diversity is running one. Be sure to participate. These hunts are really fun and at the finish you get to download lots of wonderful prizes. I know they are wonderful because I donated a whole bunch of them. ROFL! If you haven't done one of these hunts before and it seems hard, don't worry. If you get stuck, just use the Pumpkin Hunt Tagboard to ask for help. The Tagboard is meant to help people by giving HINTS. If you want to help someone else, make sure that you don't give away the location of the image.... That would spoil things for players. Just give some clues that will help players figure out where to look.

Did you notice the scarey werewolves on the splash page and the two red demons above? They are petz I adopted from the Demon and Werewolf breed files by Random Wiktor. You can download the files from the Corvus Corax archive and adopt some of your own. There's no breed file to download for the little bird, though. That's Ghostly, a Halloween Chirpy hexed by Nintendo. Ummm... do me a favor. Don't tell Ghostly that those werewolves aren't wearing costumes!

So, what's new for download? More Skyblue dog breeds for you!! Annie was a busy gal. It feels like I have been working on conversions of her breeds for ages and I am only up to "h!" I think I will take a little break and work on some of her clothes for the next update.

For Dogz II you will find Annie's Border Collie, Border Terrier, Boxer Dogz, Brittany Spaniel, Brown Doberman, Brussels Griffon, Clumber Spaniel, Drever, German Shepherd and Greyhound.

Lots of breed files for Dogz 3, 4 and 5 as well! You can now download two versions of the Border Collie, the Border Terrier, the Boxer Dogz, the Brown Doberman, two versions of the Brittany Spaniel, the Brussels Griffon, the Collie, the Clumber Spaniel, the Drever, four versions of the German Shepherd, the Greyhound and the Harlequin Dane.

Last, but not least, check Annie's Specialty Dogz page for Popsicle Danes. A fun breed in six flavors.... errr... colors.

Miz Angus is enjoying Halloween with the kids. Take a peek at the fun they are having. Watch out for the ghost, though!

October 6, 2006

Oh, Wow! The past two months have been one disaster after another. Something was amiss with my laptop and I had to send it away for repair. Then a transformer outside went bad and I was without electricity for nearly a week. AND, after I got that fixed, some gizmo in the telephone lines outside went nuts and I was without a phone line for several days. This week I have been fighting one of those nasty malware trojans that dumps pop up ads on your computer! In the middle of all this I caught some sort of flu bug and had company from out of state at the same time! It's a miracle I got anything for this update done... sigh...

The adorable Cherry on Top Poodle that you see on the splash page and above is a custom hexie by Manatee. You can request her hexies at her Hexing Archive. The Powder Puff Girls street scene is a playscene by Autumn. You can get it for Petz 5 at Pinecone Cattery.

The Summer Spritz is over, but, as usual, I had a special prize/gift for people doing the hunt and you can still get it. The problem is... it is now on a hidden page and you have to find it with no hints or help! Mwahahahaha

The Skyblue Archive isn't being much fun to work on..... Annie created some neat stuff, but she didn't seem to understand how to name and ID breeds so that petz could be moved from one game to another. She would, for example, create a Dogz II breed. When Dogz 3 came out she converted or updated the file and GAVE IT A NEW NAME! When Dogz 4 came out she converted the breed and again gave it a NEW NAME and a different ID number!! I have to make several "sets" of files so that you guys can play with the petz from all game versions.... lots of time consuming work....

So, what have I got for you this time? First of all, I found another version of Annie's Shaded Golden. The version I found was posted at Petz Gallery and I have made it available for Catz II, 3, 4 and 5. A very cute cat. It is exactly like the one Annie posted on her site, but you will need the Petz Gallery version if you have petz that were bred or adopted with it.

In the Dogz section you will find Annie's Airedale for Dogz 2, 3, 4 and 5. Next are two versions of her Alaskan Malamute: Version 1 for Dogz II, 3. 4 and 5 and Version 2 for Dogz 3, 4 and 5. Finally you will find all of her Pitbulls, also known as American Staffordshire Terriers. Due to the name and ID changes, there are a LOT of files. You can download her original Dogz II Version which has also been converted to Dogz 3, 4 and 5. Then for Dogz 3, 4 and 5 you can download her Brown, Black and White Staffies. The Brown ones are tricky to use, so read the descriptions carefully and then download the one that is right for you. I would guess that most of you would be best off with Version 2 of the Brown Staffy.

The pages are not arranged exactly as I want them and may be a bit slow loading, but I really don't want to rearrange everything every time I add a few breeds. They will eventually be organized for faster loading. Remember, you can always use the Breed Lists to find a breed quickly.

I DID have fun making a new movie for you. Be sure to stop in the Adoption Center and find out what the gang has been doing!

August 8, 2006

Most of the time I spent on this update was in doing breed conversions for the Skyblue archive. I really love some of these breeds. They are petzy, not realistic, but they are all so cute!

Catz II gamers can download the lovely Shaded Golden. Dogz II players can download the Basenji, the Basset and the Beagle.

Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can choose their favorites among Versions 1 and 2 of the Shaded Golden, Versions 1 and 2 of the Basenji, Versions 1, 2 and 3 of the Basset, Versions 1 and 2 of the Beagle, the Boxer, Versions 1 and 2 of the Brown Cairn Terrier or the Tan Cairn Terrier.

More Petz 3, 4 and 5 clones of the fabulous Corvus Corax hexed petz are now in the Adoption center. Go Page 2 of Speciez to get the Grey and White Lopz Rabbitz, Celeste the rescued pig, Kazo the Potbelly pig and two Black and White Flop Eared pigs.

July 18, 2006

Do you like freebie adoptions? Do you like instant downloadable adoptions? If you do, you're gonna LOVE this update. I have added 40, yes, 40 petz to the Adoption Center. I wasn't originally going to post them all, but people on some of the Forums were asking if anyone had petz from "the old days" and Yori had a lot of them for download.

Here's where to find the new petz in the Adoption Center:

On pages 2 and 3 of the Dogz II Wing you will find 8 hex painted petz by Yori. These are for Dogz II only. Since you can breed petz in the later games there was no need to clone these to give color variations to Petz 3, 4 and 5 players.

Next, zip over to the Catz 3-5 Wing to see and download 19 hex painted petz from pages 2 and 3.

There are petz for Dogz lovers, too! Over in the Dogz 3-5 Wing start at the bottom of page 1 and go through page 2 to get 7 of Yori's personal petz. In fact, a whole family of them including a newborn not yet separated from its mother.

Now go over to the Fantasiez Wing to download Yori's pet Caterpillar that doesn't need an extra breed file. A great pet if you just want it for fun and don't intend to breed it.

Looking for something realistic and done more recently? Go to page 3 of the Dogz 3-5 Wing for the collection of hexed Pit Bulls by Random Wiktor of Corvus Corax. They were all based on real life dogz at the shelter where Random works. Be sure to read the story of each one and learn why they ended up at the American Rescue Foundation in Beacon, NY.

Whew, that's a lot of pets to home! What? You prefer breed files? Well, I have some of those for you, too. I have opened the Skyblue Kennelz Archive and started converting files for you. So far you can download the following Dogz breeds:

The American Cocker Spaniel Version 1 for Dogz 2-5; the American Cocker Spaniel Version 2 for Dogz 3- 5; the Black and Tan Doberman Version 1 for Dogz 2-5; the Black and Tan Doberman Version 2 for Dogz 3-5 and the Black and Tan Doberman Version 3 for Dogz 3-5. BTW, if you like Skyblue's hosts, Tango, Trixie and Tiger, as much as Minibyte does, you can download the Valentine Danes file from the Specialty Dogz 3-5 page.

The following Skyblue Catz breeds are now available for download:

The Norwegian Forest Cat for Catz 2-5, the White Cymric for Catz 2-5; the Orange Eyed Cymric for Catz 2-5; the original Mitted Ragdoll for Catz 2-5 and a second version of the Mitted Ragdoll for Catz 3-5. READ THE DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY!! Some versions of a breed are exactly the same except for changes in the breed name or the breed ID number. Be sure to download the one you need or which is best for you if you don't have any petz from those breed files.

Finally, go over to the Other Wing in the Adoption Center and watch the new movie until it starts repeating. Find out what the staff has been doing when they aren't busy caring for the children!

June 18, 2006

Wheee! This update was fun to do because it gave me lots of new things to play with! Lots of work doing all the conversions, too, but I do enjoy fiddling with files. LOL! So, what has been added?

First, there are four new breeds. I found another, earlier version of the British Blue by Yori. It is the original version, created for Petz II and hosted at Petz Gallery. This early version was called the British Shorthair and looks like the later version except that it has a white ruff. It is now available for Petz II, 3, 4 and 5.

Even though Random Wiktor closed Corvus Corax quite some time ago, she did create three new breeds and and shared them through a personal page. Under Dogz you will find a new, petzier version of the Saarloos, under Speciez you will find her new Spotted Hyena and under Fantasy look for the Avenher. All three breeds are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5.

The big addition this time is Playscenes. Oh, I do love my playscenes and have fun finding just the right setting for each of my petz! And now I have ten, yes, TEN, new ones to play with! Nine of them are by Random Wiktor of Corvus Corax. I think my two favorites are Cabin and Night Beach. The Cabin lets my petz enjoy the pretty Asian Room without that stupid monkey and the Night Beach is perfect for a night of romance. The tenth playscene is by Yori of Yori's Petz Page. It is Broadway just outside of Mindy's, one of the settings in "Guys and Dolls." The sounds, I think, are sound clips from the movie - Sarah Brown and Sky Masterson talking as they stroll along. All ten playscenes are available for both Petz 4 and Petz 5.

Toyz! Yep, the first two toyz to appear in the Archives! There weren't many new toyz created for the early games because, except for a few toyz that had lnz files that could be edited, most had to have filmstrips modified and that was a tedious and time consuming task that most hexers avoided. Thanks to Nick's Tinker, however, toy conversion and creation has become easier and we can expect more new toys to be showing up! The first toy you can download is the Tribble toy from Yori's Petz Page. It is one of the toys that uses a lnz file and was originally created for Petz II. I have converted it to Petz 3, 4 and 5 for you. The other toy is Random Wiktor's Goldfish Tank. It is designed to look like the tanks really needed by tropical fish. It is available only for Petz 4 and 5. I didn't convert it to Petz 3 because it is quite large and needs to be placed on some sort of table or cabinet. I couldn't think of any Petz 3 playscenes where it would work. If you know of one, tell me about it and I will do a conversion. Both toyz are on the Playscene pages of their creators. The Goldfish Tank because it was made to go with the Cabin playscene and the Tribble because it was the only toy by Yori that I found. It would be silly to set up a separate area for one toy, so I let the host of Yori's archive find it outside of Mindy's.

The toyz, in turn, led to the creation of a new page - the Toyz List. Even if you have already found and downloaded the toyz, check out the new page. It is hosted by two of my newest petz, Tiffany and Tricky. They are two really cute Fuzzies hexed for me by Chi and they remind me of stuffed toys I had as a child.

Quite a few new residents in the Adoption Center, too! Look in the Catz II wing for four catz hexed by Yori of Yori's Petz Page and under Fantasiez for Yori's Marina and Sea Dog. The catz are available for Catz II only because they are simply hexed variations of game breeds and you can easily breed or hex variations for later games yourself. The two dogz by Yori will work in Petz 3, 4 or 5. Remember the wonderful petz Random hexed for Petz 5? I have made clones of five more of them so they are now available for Petz 3 and 4 as well. Under Speciez look for the Brown Rabbitz (for Catz) and under Catz look for Mutt Eared Maine Coons. Under Speciez you will also find the CL Frome Wolves for Dogz. Finally, go to the Dogz wing to download Random's Boredom Mutts and Ebony, the American Pit Bull.

Is that it? Nope. You also have to visit the other "Other" wing of the Adoption Center. Hiccup has returned from his search for neglected or abandoned critters and ... omg! Look what he has brought home!!! Poor Miz Angus.... Another new development for her to deal with! Watch the movie until it starts over and use the menu at the bottom of the page to get to the Rescue Dormitory.

June 1, 2006

Like my Splash page? It features some of my newest petz enjoying a beautiful day under blossoming trees. The lovely playscene is by Krista and you can download it at her site, 360°. Dobby. Hokey, Kreacher and Winky, my Harry Potter House-Elves, are from the breed file by Lunch and available for download at Joe.

You've been waiting a long time for this update and I hope the wait was worth it. I have worked hard to finish a LOT of conversions for you. You want to know what all the goodies are? Well...

New breeds for you! First, there is the Dogz 2 Plaid. This breed is exactly like the game's Scottie except that ALL the petz coming out of the Adoption Center are wearing plaid sweaters. Since Petz 3, 4 and 5 petz can wear clothes, the conversions of the Plaid aren't needed unless you want to import a favorite Plaid pet from Dogz 2.

Next we have the Purple Spotted Ninja for Dogz 2, 3, 4 and 5. This breed nearly drove me to tears. I struggled with the conversion for several days before asking Carolyn Horn for help. Apparently there were a lot of hexing errors that Dogz 2 would forgive and more advanced games would not. Carolyn, with her patience and brilliance was able to untangle the messed up codes and to provide me with a file that I could convert to all the later games and make available to you. Thanks, Carolyn!!

The next Dogz breed isn't really a dog. It is a Speciez breed. Ta Da! Yori's Caterpillar! An odd little fella which is not a bit realistic, but is fun to watch. I put it with the Dogz breeds because it is the only Speciez breed by Yori that I found, it is based upon a Dogz breed, and it seemed silly to create a new "Section" for just one breed file.

Last. but not least, I have been busy converting Yori's Pokemon breeds! You can download the following breeds for Petz 3, 4 and 5: the Arcanine, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Eevee, Jigglypuff, Meowth, Mewtwo, Persian Pokemon and the Seel Pokemon.

Clothes! We have more Petz 3, 4 and 5 clothes by Yori! Again, based on the costumes in the Broadway play, "Guys and Dolls, your petz can dress up in the Pachuco evening gown with gloves, the Pink Mink evening gown, the Cosmo Zoot suit, and the Big Jule Zoot suit. Yori even made Black and Brown Fedoras to go with the Zoot suits. Also, just for fun and especilly for people who don't have Dogz, three of the Pokemon accessories are now also available separately from the breed files. Jigglypuff's bow, Meowth's hat and the Persian jewel (to be worn on the forehead) are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5.

Don't forget to click on "Other" at the Adoption Center and check out what the folks are up to. They all look busy!

May 1, 2006

The Great Spring Race is over and the weary flower hunters are all playing with their wonderful prizes. Thanks to all the generous people who donated prizes and especially to Noelle and Rebel who put the Race together for us. My special gift for the Race is still available. I have moved the image to a new location and have made it a gift on one of the hidden pages. If you missed the Race, be sure to look for the little bit of Spring I made especially for you.

Ever since I posted infomation about the original Dogz game I have noticed that people have become intriqued with it and have been looking for more Dogz breeds to try. This update is mostly for them. I have opened a new Archive. AMjoie's Petz Page. AMjoie created a new breed fo Dogz and hex painted variations of four of the oiginal breeds. Gamers who have Dogz can now download a Black Chiua, the new Bonjour Poodle, a Grey and Black Terrier, a Grey Bulldog and a Grey Scotty.

For Petz players who don't want to fiddle with making the original Dogz game work on their computers, but who would enjoy having a Dogz breed, I have converted the Bonjour Poodle to Dogz II, Dogz 3, Dogz 4 and Dogz 5. It comes in two variatiions - with the original Big Dog/Great Dane personality or with a Poodle personality and in both stand alone and overwrite versions. Read the pages carefully to choose the file best for you.

For people who enjoy Catz breeds I have converted Yori's Catz II Defluffed Kitty to Catz 3, 4 and 5. This is what I call a "transforming pet." It changes as it matures, but I am not going to spoil the fun by telling you how. Download it and raise it WITHOUT USING PETZA. Enjoy watching it change as the days go by.

That's it for now. Now, go and find the flower hidden on my site! Oh! While you are wandering around, you might want to drop in to see what is going on in the "Other" wing of the Adoption Center.... it looks like a meeting of some sort.

I had intended to get this update posted by the thirteenth... but you are lucky to get it and I am lucky to be able to do it. Two horrific tordnados devestated the city I live in this past weekend. Damage is estimated to be in the millions and we have been designated as a disaster area. Trying to stay sheltered and living without power for several days sort of put a kabosh on working on the Archive! I can't complain, though. I wasn't hurt and my house wasn't damaged.

I have started the Archive for Yori's Petz Page. Yori hexed primarily for Petz II and Petz 3. However, as usual, I have converted files so that you can use them in Petz 4 or Petz 5 as well. There aren't really many breeds so you will find the Catz and Dogz breeds on the same page, I MAY do some rearranging of files when I get more conversions done, but at least you can download a lot of them now.

The following breeds are available for Petz II, Petz 3, Petz 4, and Petz 5:

Ana Belle, Baby Puppy, and Snoopy for Dogz

Chia Petz and Tron and Yori Kittyz for Catz

For Catz 3, Catz 4 and Catz 5 you have the British Blue. Dogz 3, Dogz 4 and Dogz 5 gamers can download Yori's German Shepherd.

Yori included a British Blue Kitten named Newkirk with the breed file. It requires the British Blue breed file and will work in Petz 3, 4 or 5. You can download Newkirk from the Adoption Center.

In the Clothing section you will find three Zoot Suits from the 1930's and based on costumes worn by actors in the "Guys and Dolls" musical.

Yet to come are several more breeds, including Yori's Pokemon breeds, a few more suits, some dresses, a toy and a playscene.

You might want to check out the "Other" wing in the Adoption Center before you leave. I think Miz Angus and Mr. Kojo are about to meet.

Before I forget! I added a new hidden page with gifts to download. Good luck finding it!

Minibyte <---- wanders off, humming, "I'm looking over a four leaf clover that I overlooked before...."

Hmmm... this update took a tremendous amount of time to prepare because of all the conversions needed. I hope you like what I have for you now!

First, visit the Adoption Center and see a whole bunch of new petz from Maxine's Kennel. They were originally for Petz II only, but I have created conversions of nearly all of them so that Dogz 3, 4 and 5 players can also enjoy them. There is a litter of eight Ferrets for Dogz 3, 4 and 5. These were one of the early attempts to hex something other than a cat or a dog and they are very primitive. Although they aren't realistic, they are enormously amusing to watch.

Next is a litter of Baby Husky puppies available for Dogz II, 3, 4 and 5. Each has a different fur color pattern. Small and fluffy as puppies, they will look like normal Huskies as adults except that they will remain miniature! See the breed file information for a picture of adults.

People have always liked the Tiny Dog breed (a miniature Mutt). Maxine created a litter of four black and white puppies and they are now available for Dogs II, 3, 4 and 5. These are super cute!

Finally, you will find a litter of 4 Rainbow MiniDalis. These are available for Dogz II only. Maxine hexed each of these separately and with all the variations in a Dalmatian breed file, I didn't even consider trying to clone them and figuring out which spot was which color!

A surprise! Two new breeds from Random Wiktor of the now closed Corvus Corax site! The Ammut and the Anubis Jackal. Both are gods from Egyptian mythology. I especially like the Anubis Jackal and have already bred a litter of them. They are beautiful creatures!

Last, I did a bit of reorganizing in the Playscenes section and added four great scenes created by Maxine. The four scenes are all available for both Petz 4 and Petz 5.

MOVIE TIME in the Adoption Center!!

(Watch until it starts to repeat!)

Uh oh.... I think you better take a look at the "Other" wing of the Adoption Center. We seem to have a new staff person.... err... dog.

I have been working on files for an update, but am not ready to upload them yet. I have been too busy with Holiday Hunts, Gift Exchanges and other holiday stuff. So there is nothing new for you to download... ummm, unless you find my hidden TGPC present. Even though The Great Present Caper is over I have left the surprise for you to find. LOL! While you're searching, make sure to stop in the "Other" wing of the Adoption Center. Miz Angus amazes me at times!

The last update wass a bit different. I was getting tired of just converting breed files, so I worked on something else. I set up pages for the very first Petz game: Dogz, Your Virtual Pet. All of Maxine's hexed breeds for Dogz are now available for download. What? You don't have Dogz? That's OK. Download the Adoption Center Demo and read the instructions for using hexed breeds. They work just fine in the Adoption Center! So, be sure to explore the new Resources section and all the information about Dogz. Caesar, the host for the Dogz game, will be glad to see you.

I have two new friends for you to meet as well. Silver Star is hosting the Resources list for games and Hiccup has started his job in the Adoption Center.
