The Holidays sure snuck up on me in a hurry! Is time going faster than usual? I got some lovely petz as presents, but haven't had time to take pictures of them yet. I will show them to you in my next update. The beautiful image on the splash page is from a playscene that is a prize on the Labs Galore Advent Calendar. It is so peaceful that I decided to just display it as is. Be sure to download it for yourself. The link to the Calendar is above.
This update may seem small, but I have spent MANY hours on it in the past two weeks. Part of the time I was preparing prizes to donate to the Santa Hunt. Next I spent a lot of time laying out and creating some new pages. That didn't leave much time to do a lot of conversions, but there IS some new stuff for you!
Most of the new pages I created are for the "Hosted Dogz" section of the Terri's Petz 3 Page Archive. I did manage to convert six of the hosted Dogz breeds for you. Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can download Joann's Poofy Sheepdog, Karen's Palmatian, and Kim's Grey Wolf, HK Spaniel, Keeshund, and Lab Shepherd. These three gals were beginners at hexing and, by today's standards, their breeds are extremely simple. But they had fun creating them and that's what play is about!
Sorry, Catz people. I just didn't have time to convert any more of the hosted Catz breeds. I'll do more of them for the next update. For now, enjoy the FuzzBallz.
FUZZBALLZ? Yep. I posted my FuzzBallz collection. They were created by Petz 2000 way back in the year 2000 and were one of the first things I started collecting. I got almost all of them. I missed a few though, If you have any of the ones I missed, email me and maybe we can arrange some sort of trade. I would really like my collections to be as complete as possible.
If you remember, in the last update Miz Angus wrote to Duke and invited him to spend the holidays in Petsville. Well, he accepted! Things have been really busy since he arrived, but I think he is having a great time. Stop into the Adoption Center and say hello to him!

Yay!! The Petz Community is really busy this Holiday Season! There are two, not just one, but TWO Advent Calendars and Noelle is putting a Santa Hunt together! Be sure to click on the banners above and check them out. Get yourself lots of goodies and help with the Hunt if you can. Noelle needs image hosts and prize donations. You could also help publicize the Hunt by posting a link and telling your friends about it.
As you can see from the splash page, with Christmas so close things are getting hectic in Santa's Village. Santa is exercising the reindeer, Mrs. Claus is busy wrapping gifts and baking cookies and the elves are rushing to finish toys. The young pups were just getting in the way so Mrs. Claus sent them outside to build a snowman. Snowman? Oh no, it's much more fun to decorate the trees. Those red and green puppies are Ornament, Branch, Tinsel and Tree. They are from
Diversity's
downloadable Pez 5 X-mas Fluffers v2 litter. They did just fine with the big tree in the village square, but when they finished and turned around they saw that Trouble had gotten into trouble... again! Trouble was hexed by Solloby of the RKC Forum and tends to constantly get into trouble Hence, his name. This time he got so "wrapped up" in his work that he didn't notice getting tangled up in that string of Christmas lights. Sigh... he may have to wear them the rest of his life. LOL! Berry, a Koshka Chinchilla, is a custom hexie by Manatee. Berry decided to stay out of the whole thing. Instead, he got himself a comfy perch on Rudolf's back and is content to just watch the fun. Dancer (hexed by Moonlight of the APKC Forum) was busy polishing the runners on his sleigh when he noticed all the commotion over by the big tree. Uh oh.. In the distance you can see Pressie (Hostess of the Archive's Toyz Workshop) rushing to scold Trouble and to clean up the mess before Santa gets back. Santa's Village, by the way, is a Petz 5 playscene by Autumn that you can download from Playscenes-A-Pg 1 at
Pinecone.Cattery
I finished converting and posting Terri's cat breeds in my last update. Now, as promised, I have started working on the breeds Terri hosted on her site. I have started with five breeds by Ann. Ann hexed both real and fantasy breeds. Some of them are quite nice. In fact I chose a pet from one of her breeds to host the Hosted Catz section of the Terri's Petz 3 Page archive. Be patient and I will eventually get to that breed file and then you, too, can have a Stars Cat like my Mira. For now, enjoy the breeds I just posted: the Chocolate Chinchilla, the Cloudz (ohhhh... so fluffy!), the Fish Catz, the Flame Point Persian and the Flame Point Siamese. All are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5.
This update bring you the last six breeds in Terri's Flagz Dogz set: the German Flagz, the Irish Flagz, the Italian Flagz, the Japanese Flagz, the Mexican Flagz and the Swiss Flagz. I really like the Swiss Flagz and it was interesting to learn about the Swiss flag. For the next update I will start posting the dog breeds hosted on Terri's site.
I've set up a whole new Archive for you to explore. My Collectables. The link is in the Navigation menu on the left. This Archive will feature all the interesting things I have collected while exploring Petz sites over the years. I've posted six of my collections and have a lot more to add. I haven't set up the "rules" for trades yet as I am still thinking about how to handle them. I really need to get the rest of my collectables up first so that you can see what I have and what is missing and would be good for a trade.
Things appear to be calm and quiet at the Adoption Center although the guys are really fascinated with that globe trotting dog, Duke. Who's Duke? Go on over to the Center and find out

Ohhhhh! Look at my lovely new petz! Dim Light and Allan are Alley Cat/Persian mixes from Kara of Petz Pizzazz! Alonzo and Flower were sent by Paige. Alonzo is a Chihuahua/Dalmatian mix and Flower is an SN Sheltie. The teeny little puppy is Pastel, a hexed Chihuahua from Katie of the Virtual Life Forum. Aren't they all grand? I think the petz on the Splash page are pretty spiffy, too. Their fall colors make them the perfect petz to show off this time of year. The kitty with falling leaves over her head is September, a custom Fall is Falling Honeybear hexed by Manatee. Theodore (the little Pilgrim) and Victoria (wearing the Feather hat) are Teddy Oshies hexed by Breeze.
If you missed the Birthday party and Halloween treats, don't worry. The goodies are still available. The Petz 4 and Petz 5 playscenes of Frisky's decorated living room have been moved to the Playscene Archives. The Birthday Cake and the cake slices are now at Petzville Catering. Find them on the Toys List. The Halloween treats, also on the Toys List, are on the Halloween page.
As usual, I have some more breed files for you. This update finishes Terri's cat breeds with her Raccoon Lemur and her White Tiger. Both are available for Petz 3, Petz 4 and Petz 5. For my next update I will begin posting the cat breeds Terri hosted for other hexers.
Next are some very interesting fantasy dog breeds by Terri. She made a series of breeds representing different countries and I have posted the first five. You can download Versions 1 and 2 of the African Flagz, Versions 1 and 2 of the American Flagz, Versions 1 and 2 of the Canadian Flagz, Versions 1 and 2 of the Chinese Flagz and the French Flagz. All are available for Petz 3, Petz 4 and Petz 5. I think the Chinese Flagz is my favorite. I've already adopted one of my own!
I also have another playscene for you. You see, I recently adopted a litter of.. of.. well, they are a cross between a cat and a guppy. Don't look at me like that. I already told you that I was crazy. I like weird petz and these were.. ummm...unusual. Anyway, they couldn't decide if they were mostly cat and needed to live on land or were mostly fish who needed to spend a lot of time in the water. Fish bowls were much too small for them. So, I made Pezville Cove where they can live and have the best of both worlds. Your petz can enjoy the beach there, as well. Even if they aren't part guppy!
Oh dear! Poor Miz Angus. She doesn't appear to be very happy at the moment. You better go see what is upsetting her.....
October 13, 2007
Goodies? You say Frisky told you to come in and get goodies? Well, of course! I always have goodies for you! In fact, if you didn't notice, the number of Hidden Pages just increased to 17. Go through the Update carefully and you are sure to find the newest Hidden Page and the goodies for download on it.
Oh! Yes, there also are a few special things this time. First, everyone is getting excited about Halloween and is busy planning a costume. Some are even planning to have parties. You need treats for Halloween and Petzville Catering has whipped some up. See those two spiders up above? Jeebz, the hairy one was hexed by Boardwalk Sue and the four legged one, Dart, was hexed by K.A.Y.O.T.A. Dart won't explain how he lost his legs, but I suspect he got into a fight with the wrong critter. Anyway, if you click on Jeebz he will take you directly to the Halloween page where you can download Spider Snacks, Spooky Cakes and Halloween Candy Corn.
I have some more of Terri's Dogz breeds converted for you. Petz 3, 4, and 5 gamers can download Versions 1 and 2 of the Shag, the Skylightz, the Snow Dane, the Springtime Hound, the Wicker Sheepdog and the Zebra Dane. Watch out for that Zebra Dane. He is one big feller!!
A member of one of the Forums I monitor requested a Harry Potter wand. I hexed one for them and it came out so nicely that I thought that you might like to have it, too. It also is great for petz wearing the Sorcerer costume or for petz pretending to be fairies. The Faerie petz I adopted with the Faerie breed file from Vickie's Petz Zoo were delighted to finally have wands! You can find the Harry Potter wand on the Toyz list.
Now, go on over to Page 2 of the Petz 4 Playscenes or Page 2 of the Petz 5 Playscenes and get a fantastic scene I just finished. I adopted a custom Pirate Mutt this month. He has a peg leg and wears a red kerchief, an eye patch and a gold earring. He definitely needed a special playscene! I hope you enjoy his Ship as much as I do!
Whew! That was a lot of work for this update. Huh? Party? You are looking for the Birthday Party? Hmm... I think Frisky was planning one, but I'm not sure where she lives. She was still house hunting the last time I saw her. But I'm sure she would invite Miz Angus, so run along to the Adoption Center and ask to go to the party with her.
September 25, 2007
Oh, wow! It's hard to believe that it's already September and soon the leaves will be falling. I love Fall and all the pretty autumn leaf colors. I hate the idea of Winter fast approaching, though. Brrr! Let's see, what's new today? Well, first I found the link to the quiz where the Sorting Hat put me into Ravenclaw. If you want to take the same test, just click on my Ravenclaw coat of arms up above.
I've been having fun playing with some of my Odd Petz - petz bred or adopted with the Oddpetz breed files created by Carolyn Horn. Some of my favorites are playing on the splash page. If you like them, you can easily have some for your game. Fiddle is a Dynaroo. You can get the breed file from Carolyn's Creations. Mod-Grin and Skorker were both download adoptions from the Odd Petz Adoption Agency. When you get there, go to the Catz 3/4/5 Adoptions. Skorker is on Page 2 and Mod-Grin is on Page 3. Dottymia and Mooshie are watching us from above this Update and thinking we are a little odd ourselves! Dottymia, a hexed variation of the Dynaroo, is from a breed file created by Cursed Dragon. Mooshie, based on a bred pet, is from a breed file by Ryan White. Click on their pictures to download Unibreed versions of their breed files.
I've put my Magonda Kavies collection on this page for now. As you can see, I got the five original Freebie Kavies, the New Style Freebie Kavie and I found two Special Kavies. Now I am hoping to earn some coupons so that I can get an exclusive custom Kavie!
Oh! In case you're wondering, those chickens in the banner at the top of the page are Hen toys hexed by Manda of Silent Wolf Kennelz.
There's a whole bunch of new conversions from Terri's Petz 3 Page for you! For Catz 3, 4 and 5 you can download the Calico and Red Persians (both in the same breed file), the Calico Shorthair, the Mini Calico, the Pastel Chinchilla (aka Persian Lilac Torte), the Red Shorthair, the Russian Purple, the Silver Rain Tabby, and the Tennessee Coon. The Mini Calico is a stitch! I nearly fell off the chair laughing when Mama Calico had her first baby!
I've also converted five more of Terri's Dogz breeds for you. You can download the Metal Linkz, the Prismz, the Rainbow Labrador, the Red Houndstooth Dane and the River Mysts. All five of these breeds are available for Dogz 3, Dogz 4 and Dogz 5. The Prismz and Rainbow Lab are a bit too bright for my tastes, but I really like the soft blues on the River Mysts petz.
I'm a glutton for punishment! I went and converted another Petz 3 playscene to Petz 4 and Petz 5. It's Terri's "City Street" scene and is perfect for petz who like to play with the toy car!
I've added two more petz to the Adoption Center. I hesitated a bit because I feared that someone might be offended. About four years ago Moo posted penis Danes for adoption. Yep, you read that right. They were dogz with a visible penis. Everybody wanted one! Well, Random Wiktor hexed two penis petz as well: a Doberman and an African Wild Dog. Both are now available on Page 5 of the Dogz 3-4-5 Section for you to download. What the hey! This is the real world. If you are shocked by realistic naked dogz, don't leave your house, The dogs out there aren't wearing trousers, ya know!
While you are in the Adoption Center, take a peek to see what the staff are up to. I think they are getting ready to go to a party....
August 19, 2007
As you can see from the splash page, my petz hit the beaches on hot summer days! Lady Heliotrope and Seņor Sandcastle love to collect shells, dig in the sand and splash in the sea. They were Find It prizes, hexed by Manatee, and are still available if you can find them on her site. The little Muttlie with a sand castle on her head is Kiki, a pet I adopted from the sand box muttlies breed file by moocow of APRS. The beach is the Sandy Beach playscene I made for the 2006 Summer Spritz. Your petz can also play there because both the Petz 4 and Petz 5 versions are now available for download in the Playscene section. Your petz will need sand pails and shovels, too, so find them in the Toys List and download them in three different colors.
I collect Petz stuff and I just started a new collection. Up there on the banner you will see the two Special kavies that I found at Magonda. I have some that are not yet displayed and Veno says there are more to come. I think they are adorable kitties! Click on them to go to Magonda and find out how to start a collection of your own.
OK, so now you've got a new playscene and some toys. How about some new breeds? I converted five more of Terri's Dogz breeds and five more of her Catz breeds. All of them are available for Petz 3, Petz 4 and Petz 5.
The new Dogz breeds you can download are the Calico Sheepdog, the Lattice Poodle, the Leopard Dane, the Marble Mutt and the Martin Mastiff. All are on page 1 of the Terri's Dogz section of the Terri's Petz 3 Page archive.
On page 1 of the Terri's Catz section you will find Terri's Cloud Cat, English Blush, Gray Tabby, Groovy Cat (with the same fur texture as Terri's Groovy Dog!) and the Midnight Blue. Aha! At last, a Russian Blue that is REALLY blue. LOL!
Miz Angus has been working hard in her garden and what a gorgeous garden it is! You must go and take a look. All the flowers are in blossom and are truly beautiful. I think Miz Angus is working there now...
July 26, 2007
This update may not appear, from the number of new files, to be very big after a wait of over a month. However, you have to remember that I started a new archive with this update. That meant gathering all the files, making sure I had the correct information about them and then making the layout of all the pages before I could even start converting files!! I did a few other things, too. For one thing, I tidied up and updated this home page.
I was so busy that I got behind on cleaning the house as you can see from the huge dust bunny that is up there on the banner. LOL! Seriously, that dust bunny is little Frizzle, a Dust Bunny pet hexed for me by LittleCat of the All About Petz Forum. Frizzle is MUCH cuter than the dust balls under my bed! Also joining us is Dusty, a mixie I bred to be a prize in the 2006 Pumpkin Hunt. I'm not sure what he is doing other than trying to figure out why there is a fish on his tail. I'd like to know why that fish is there as well.
Since he is busy with contemplating this oddity, I doubt that he even noticed the Summer Meltdown Banner. Click on it to go to the site and find out all about the petz hunt Noelle is running for us. The hunts are always fun and everyone who finishes and figures out the secret password gets a bunch of nice prizes for their Petz game. So be sure to give it a try!
I 've put up a nice card I got from Whalefreak as a thank you gift for helping her with a breed file. I LOVE getting cards and presents!!! Finally, I posted my Ravensclaw House coat of arms. I took one of those online quizzes and the Sorting Hat said I should be in the Ravensclaw House. I did that quiz two or three years ago and no longer have the URL for the quiz. Sorry. You can search Google for Harry Potter quizzes. There are lots of them, including some for the Sorting Hat.
Frisky, on the front page, has already welcomed you to the grand opening of the Terri's Petz 3 Page Archive. Terri's site was very popular in Petz 3 days. She and some of her friends offered us some wonderful petz. Terri also helped create some of the first user created playscenes. The Archive will hold both Terri's files and files she hosted for others. For this update I started with Terri's creations.
For Petz 3, 4 and 5 you can download five new Dogz breed files: the Checkerz, the Fire Dalmatian, the Golden Poodle, the Groovy Dog (I love the texture on this one!), and the Houndstooth Hound dog. Catz players can download the Bengal Tiger, the Blue Tabby, the Blueberry Coon Catz breed, the Blue-eyed Siamese, and the Blush Tabby. Did you like that pretty Summer Alpine scene on the Splash page? Well, that's one of Terri's playscenes. She teamed with Birgit of Petz Gallery to make that scene as well as a Spring Version. Both are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5. They were created for Petz 3 only and I was crazy enough to convert them even though it was very difficult to do so. I donno if I am going to convert very many Petz 3 playscenes. They were created with a hex editor and the conversions can't be done with the game Playscene Editors. It's tricky to do and very time consuming. However I wanted these for my own game, so you all lucked out.
There are two new petz in the Adoption Center from Random Wiktor of Corvus Corax. Her Russet version of the Red Fox and her Silver phase version of the Red Fox are on Page 2 of Speciez. They are really nicely done and I now have all three of her pet foxes in my game!
It has been raining here for weeks and weeks, but today the sun is shining and I see that Miz Angus is entertaining a guest out on the patio. Her guest is all dressed up, too. I think I will go drop in and find out what they are talking about... yep, nosy me!
June 19, 2007
Yes, I know that it's a bit early for the Adoption Center crew to have a 4th of July picnic, but I am celebrating early because I thought you would like a chance to breed some USA Dalmatians and to grab the USA flag in time to have them in your game before Independence Day.
Just above you can see two of my petz checking out their new USA Flag toy. The red, white and blue fella is George from the Patriot breed file by Sue Briley of Petz Boardwalk. The little lady covered with stars is Starri from my Peace Cat breed. you can download both breed files at Petz Boardwalk. In the banner at the top of the page you can see Hero, my lovely red, white and blue pet with poppies on his coat. Hero is a custom Remembrance hexie by Manatee of the APKC Forum.
You've been waiting a long time for this update, but I think the long wait will have been worth it. This update is HUGE, I think it's the biggest one I have ever done. Part of the reason for the delay is that I was so very close to finishing the Skyblue files that I wanted to finish the Archive before posting an update. I also rearranged many of the pages so that they would load faster. I tried to put things in alphabetical order, but that system just doesn't work well. It would have separated the Cardigan Welsh Corgi from the Pembroke Welsh Corgi even though they are variations of the Corgi. Sigh.... Things are just in ROUGH alphabetical order with some oddities such as the Corgi breeds are together under "C." So, what have we got for you?
First, for catz lovers! Catz II players can download the Ocicat. A beautiful breed! Catz 3, 4 and 5 players can download Carolyn Horn's conversions of the Ocicat. These are the files that are on her site, but with sounds restored. They can also download the Brown Russian Blue, the Grey Brown Tabby, the New Color Persians, the Sandy Beach Tabby, the Specialty B Persians, Versions 1 and 2 of the Spotted Housecat, and the Spotted Housecat2. Finally, they can go to the Specialty Fantasy Catz page and download the cute Pink Lemonade.
Lots of Dogz breeds, too! Dogz II gamers can download the Brown Tibetan Terrier, the German Spitz, Versions 1 and 2 of Annie's Sheltie, the Wolfmix and the White West Highland Terrier (Westie).
Dogz 3, 4, and 5 players can download the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cocoa Dali on Page 3. Over on Page 5 they can download the New Color Labradors, and Version 2 of the Sheltie.
On Page 8 they will find the Brown and Black Sheepdog, Versions 1 and 2 of The Brown Tibetan Terrier, the German Spitz, the Sandy Tibetan Terrier, the Tiny Dog (Be careful with this one, it will overwrite the Tiny Dog breed file from Maxine's), the White West Highland Terrier (Westie), the Wolfmix and the Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie).
Over on the Fantasy Dogz Page 1 you can download the Blue Dali and the Citrus Scottie. On Fantasy Dogz Page 2 you will find the Skyblue Mutt, the Sunshine Yellow Sheepdog, the USA Dalmatian (Just in time for Independence Day!), the Xmas Dalmatian and the Xmas Mutt.
Yay! More downloadable adoptions! One cat, three single dogz and two Dogz families. Aww... One of the petz got upset and Miz Angus had to run over there to calm things down again.... OH! Be sure to check out the Rescue Dormtory as well. Miz Angus has freed two more of her very special, although odd, children for adoption.
That's not all! I have also added twelve items to the Clothing pages: a Chef's hat (the one that Bonjour wears at Petzville Catering), a Dr. Seuss Hat, a Yellow Bikini set, a Green Swim Trunks set, a Pink Diamond T Shirt, the Skyblue Tie Dye Shirt, a Black Sweatshirt, a Black Leather Jacket and four Star Trek Uniforms.
Use the Toys List to find the new USA Flag toy.
Have you noticed the hidden page/gift count up above? I just upped it to 15. Yep. In addition to all the work completed, I included another hidden gift for you. The link is hidden somewhere in this update and it is something out of this world! Try to find it..
Whew... I am TIRED! Can you see why? I Think I will go and have a nice cup of hot chocolate and then go to bed before.... HUSH! What's that? I thought I heard whispering over in the Adoption Center. Sigh... I am pooped, but I suppose that we better check what's happening over there.....
April 30, 2007
Is it Spring yet? At the beginning of the month I said Winter was nearly over. WRONG! We had snow, sleet, rain, plenty of ice and more snow. April was NOT a pleasant weather month! Maybe, just maybe May will be better. I want to see my flowers blooming in the garden.
It seems as if horses, both breeds and hexed petz, are the big thing in the Petz Community right now. I have always liked Iola's Horsez breed and I love Random Wiktor's hexed horse petz (gonna post them for ya some day), but I never really got hooked on horses. I like cute little fuzzy creatures. The mice and rats on the splash page are some of my favorite petz and really show how hexing has evolved. Mickey and Minnie were hexed way back in 1999. I downloaded them from Indian Trail Petz, but there was no information about who created the breed file. Most hexers were doing little beyond hex painting at that time and that's why Mickey and Minnie look like catz painted to represent mice. I had great fun with them, though. Next came Samson and Delilah from Sand'z Cattery. Around 2000 I think. Aren't they adorable petzy critters? You can download the breed file from my Sand'z Cattery Archive. In June of 2003 I adopted Snogger from Emily of Icing. Snogger is a hexed MK&C Rat. Firebird still has the Rat breed file for download on her site . 2004 was a good year for mice and rats. LOL! Vickie created the VPZ Standard Rat which I used to adopt Kiki and Tictac. You can download the breed file, as well as several of Vickie's other rodent breeds, from the VPZ Research Center. It was also about this time that Carolyn Horn created her PFMice, mice that look exactly like the game mice. I immediately adopted Dink and Daffy! They even make rodent noises just like the game mice! Download them from Carolyn's Creations. Last, and the inspiration for the splash page and rodent nostalgia is SPOONER! My new mouse from Manda's breed file which was just released. You can get the file here.
I see another two of my petz have crept in. Leaping about at the top of the page is Snowball, my Maltese. She was terribly depressed because she lost her blue sweater when I imported her from Dogz II. Well, I felt sorry for her and hexed a replica (which you can download from the Skyblue Kennels archive). She hasn't stopped bouncing around since I gave it to her. Another character, ahem, pet, is Hopeful, my Labrador. She has only three legs. "Amputee" petz were quite rare when I adopted her from Kristi of The Petz Show back in 2001. In spite of her missing limb, Hopeful considers herself a ballerina and loves to show off. She married Pegleg, an eighth generation mixie who has all four limbs, but has markings that make him look like he has peg leg. Alas, being an artsy theater type, Hopeful tends to flirt and ended up having an affair with a three legged dog named Trey. They had a puppy with part of a leg missing! Trey went off to chase other ladies and, luckily for Hopeful, Pegleg forgave her and has adopted the little one.
Well, I guess you want to know what is new for you to download.... More Skyblue breeds. Dogz II gamers can go to the Dogz II section and download the Irish Setter on Page 2 and the Saluki on Page 3.
Several nice breeds in Dogz 3-5 for Dogz 3, 4 and 5 gamers! They can download the Brown Spotted Dalmatian on Page 4. Their Irish Setter version is on Page 5. Over on Page 6 they can get the Brown Spotted Mutt, the Tan Spotted Mutt and the Hot Cocoa Mutt. Then they can go to Page 7 and download the Saluki and the Black Saluki.
Yay! Another cat breed! Skyblue's White and Grey Shorthair for Catz 3, 4 and 5 is available on Page 1 of the Catz 3-5 Section.
Finally, the Adoption Center has some new residents. On Page 5 of the Dogz 3-4-5 Section you will find three very nice petz from Skyblue - a pair of Brown Spotted Dalmatians and a Hot Cocoa Mutt.
I hate to say this, but I am rather worried about Miz Angus. She just hasn't been herself lately. She mopes around the Center and always looks like she is about to cry. I sent the guys over to check on her, but maybe you should stop by, too. If only I knew what was bothering her.....
April 1, 2007
Yay! It's April and Winter is nearly over. I say "nearly" because the weather is really bizarre here in the Midwest. Yesterday afternoon it got so hot that I turned on the air conditioner. But then I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn on the furnace because I was shivering!!
Whoaa! Did you see all those bunnies out front? All sorts, shapes and sizes. Auditioning!! I wonder what's going on.... Looks like nearly all my bunny petz are out there, waiting in line. Except for shy little Carrot up at the top of the page. She was hexed by Marinsa of Kita Kata Catz and, being based on an Orange Shorthair, she would never make it through an Audition. If someone sneezed she would freak out! LOL!
Quite a bit in this update. First, if you downloaded the Petz 3, 4 or 5 Maltese before, download it again. I updated the conversions because I had done something dumb... I left the sweater hexed onto the dog. Cool until I bred it and got some weird color markings on offspring. ROFL! So I removed the hexed sweater and petz now pass normal colors on to their offspring. That Dogz II sweater was such a pretty blue! I wanted my petz to have it back, so I hexed a replica for our petz to wear in later versions of the game.
More Skyblue breeds for you! Petz II gamers can download Annie's perky Pomeranians on Page 3 of Dogz II breeds. Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can download the Pomeranian breed on Page 7 of the Dogz 3-5 section.
Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can also download the following breeds from the Dogz 3-5 section: The New Color Great Danes are on Page 4. The updated Maltese files are on page 6. Versions 1 and 2 of the Newfoundland are also on Page 6. A cute and fuzzy Papillion can be downloaded from Page 7. Finally, in the Specialty/Fantasy Dogz section you will find the Periwinkle Sheepdog from Annie's Summer Fun Pack.
Clothes! Most petz love to wear new clothes. I have added several items to the Clothes section. First there are three bows in Neon Green, Neon Orange and Neon Yellow. They match the glasses I converted earlier. Next we have the Bug Antennae. Actually they are the same antennae as in the Bee Costume download, but Annie offered them separately for people who might not want the Bee costume and I decided to do the same. Then there is a clever little Spikey Green Hat which is rather neat. And, of course, you will find the Skyblue sweater, the replica I hexed of the blue sweater worn by some of Annie's Dogz II petz.
There are some new residents in the Adoption Center. Be sure to check them out. On Page 4 of Catz 3-4-5 you can adopt RUSTY, a pretty Siamese/Tabby mix. On Page 5 of Dogz 3-4-5 you can download BEAR, a New Color Dane. He has a great pose! Also on Page 5 you can adopt CASSIDY, a Fall Dalmatian, and MADISON, a Periwinkle Sheepdog.
While you are wandering around the Adoption Center, stop in to see what Miz Angus is up to. She has an interesting visitor......

Green, green. St. Patrick's Day in March and everything is green! Those pups on the splash page were lucky. They caught the Leprechaun and got his gold. Now he's playing his fiddle, hoping to distract them so that he can grab the gold and make a run for it. LOL! The adult Dane with the green ankle puffs is Lady Shamrock. I adopted her from Lia of Black Ice. The four puppies are from a downloadable litter at Diversity. They are still available if you want them. The lovely green kitty at the top of the page is Mugg-Butt. I got her as a downloadable adoption at Sand'z Cattery way back in 2002.
There's quite a variety of things in this update! First, the Skyblue Kennelz Dogz breeds. As promised, here are the rest of the Schnauzers: For Dogz II you can download a very early, prototype, version of the Miniature Schnauzer, Version 1 of the Grey Miniature Schnauzer, the Standard Schnauzer and the Giant Schnauzer. Dogz 3, 4 and 5 gamers can download Versions 1 and 2 of the Grey Miniature Schnauzer, the Standard Schnauzer and the Giant Schnauzer.
Next we have some fantasy breeds! Under Dogz Specialty/Fantasy breeds you will find the Irish Dali for Dogz 2, 3, 4 and 5 and the Irish Dalmatian for Dogz 3, 4, and 5. Under Catz Specialty/Fantasy breeds you can download the BBQ Russian and the Garden Greens Shorthair.
There's a whole bunch of new Petz 3+ residents in the Adoption Center, too! Four fantasy breeds from Skyblue on Page 2: DAZZLE, KINGSTON, SHAMROCK and SUNNY. (I'm not yelling. Annie had a habit of using all caps for her petz' names!) Then on Page 2 over in the Species section you can find the Leppie Foxes and Black Phase Red Foxes from Corvus Corax.
If you missed all the Valentine food treats, don't worry. You can still get them. Find the links in the "Food & Drink" section of the Toys List.
Oh! My Gosh! Hiccup and Vinelda are back from their honeymoon. Hurry over to the Adoption Center to hear all about their trip.
February 13, 2007
This isn't a huge update, but a lot of work went into it. Two of the breeds were available only as Dogz II breeds. That meant a lot of converting to make them available to everyone! Add to that the clothes and the Valentine goodies. Not bad for two weeks. So... what do we have?
Two very nice Dogz breeds. The Sealyham Terrier is really cute and it is available for Dogz II, 3, 4 and 5. The second breed is Annie's Black Miniature Schnauzer. Version 1 is available for Dogz II, 3, 4 and 5. Version 2 is available for Dogz 3, 4 and 5. Version 2 is really the same as Version 1 except that Annie changed the breed name. The next update will give you the Skyblue Standard and Giant Schnauzers.
Next I converted two more clothes items. Your petz will look cute wearing either the Neon Orange or Neon Yellow glasses. These, plus the Green Neon glasses I posted in the last update, give your catz and dogz a variety to mix and match with their favorite outfits.
Finally I went to the kitchen (aka Hex Editor) and made some Valentine cookies and a special Petz soft drink for you. Kisses and Hugs, the petz up by the Valentine greeting, will show you where to download them.
Nothing new in the Adoption Center. The kids are still wearing their Valentine PJ's and partying. Poor Miz Angus and staff. They must be getting tired by now. LOL!
February 2, 2007
Wow! How did we get to 2007 so fast? I swear. As I grow older, time goes faster. Not good when I need longer days to do all the stuff that I want to do! LOL!
The Christmas and Chanukah gifts have been moved to Holiday pages. If you didn't get them before, look for them on the Toyz List. Hearts, the Pink Valentine Scottie in the site banner, was a 2005 Valentine gift from Puppy2284 of the RKC Petz Forum. The petz on the splash page are Winter and Grey+Cloud, both hexed by Manatee. They get along fabulously and have learned how to gang up on me. Those snowballs took me by surprise!
This update was fun to do and I hope you will enjoy some of the new downloads. First, there is a new Archive. All of one page. Yep, kinda small. It is for Hazard by Jesse. Her site was gone except for one page by the time I found it. It was the page for her Border Collie. So many people have asked for it that I decided that putting it up for download would be an easier way to distribute the files than to send them by Emails.
I also converted some more Skyblue breed files for you. Dogz II players can download Annie's Spotted 2. It is actually a color variation of the Dalmatian. It has blue-grey spots and patches on a tan coat and is really quite a nice looking dog.
There are more Dogz files for Petz 3, 4 and 5 gamers as well. They can also download Annie's Spotted 2 in addition to the Black and White Mutt, the Mini Mutt and the Mini Mutt 2. Then they can go over to the Dogz 3-5 Specialty Fantasy section and download the Blue Sky Mutt and the Camouflage Dali.
There are some additions to the Adoption Center as well. Go to Page 2 of the Fantasiez section to find Annie's Valentine petz. You can adopt Sweetie and Cinnamon, her Valentine Tabbies, or Romeo and Juliet, Annie's pink and red Valentine Dalis. Oh heck, adopt them all!
Next, go over to page 1 of Outfits in the Skyblue Clothes section to download the Mickey Mouse Ears and the Neon Green Glasses for your petz.
When you get tired from downloading all the goodies, drop into the Adoption Center. Miz Angus is having a party for the kids and you might be in time for refreshments.
