Loxfiredance recently gave Minibyte permission to post her playscene background images for download so that you can enjoy them. Each scene can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. Add ledges on things you want your petz to perch on or to create places to store things such as the shelves in a bookcase or a window sill. Make rollable areas below the horizon and hangable or gazeable areas above the horizon. If you enjoy manipulating images, you can use a paint program to create items to "paste" onto the background, images that will you can make travel along a path or to use in making something interactive. You can add wav files to have some background atmosphere or to your playscene.

These images are being provided in two sizes: each is available in the original size and in a bitmap resized to 1024 by 768. The original images work fine on older computers, but may not display properly on newer high resolution screens. This is due to the fact that Windows and the Petz program resize images for your screen according to standard aspect ratios - the ratio of height to width. If the image does not have the correct aspect ratio it may not fill the playscene area on your screen properly. Minibyte resized the images to 1024 by 768 bitmaps. The resized images have a standard aspect ratio used by Windows and the Petz games. They should resize well on both old and new computers. The resized images have also been converted to 256 color images to minimize file size.
