Greetings! Welcome to Silent Wolf Kennelz. Come on in and make yourself comfortable. My name is Night Hunter and as you can see, I am a wolf. What else would you expect in an archive for a site named Silent Wolf Kennelz? Minibyte adopted me from Tessa's WlfHybrid v.2 breed file and decided that I would be the perfect host for this Archive. I will tell you a bit about the site itself, and also will be sure to post some desciprive information about as many of the files as I can.

You might have noticed that the images are the images from the original site and the descriptions of breeds are direct quotes from the site. Please be assured that Minibyte has Tessa's permission to use the images and that she has attributed the quotations as accurately as she could.

Tessa created the Silent Wolf Kennelz site in late 2003 and early 2004. Soon after Manda joined the site and became a co-owner. They ran the site together until about 2006-07 when they both started losing interest in the Petz games. Tessa was primarily responsible for the art work and site design while Manda created most of the Petz breeds and all of the clothes and toys. Manda eventually left the Petz Community, leaving Tessa to run the site by herself.

Being busy preparing for University and having lost interest in Petz, Tessa stopped updating the site. In April of 2008, however, Tessa began drawing and posting adoptable cyberpets. In June she renamed the site Chicken Smoothie to help change the site's focus from Petz to Adoptables. In December of 2008 she removed the Petz pages and gave Minibyte permission to set up a Silent Wolf Kennelz archive.
Minibyte converted a few files to Unibreed and updated Unibreed v1 files to v3. No changes to the original coding were made unless there was a serious error. In a few instances an Adoption Center picture was added. Any changes to a file are noted in the README file included with every download.
